Concert II: Baroque and Beyond, Miami Bach Society Chamber Orchestra with Robert Heath at the harpsichord and Robert Billington on the flute,  perform concertos of Bach and Vivaldi, John Rutter’s Suite Antique and the premier of Nick Strimple’s recent composition, for its first Florida performance.

Taste of Tropical Baroque: A preview of the Tropical Baroque Music Festival IX.  It features Brent Wessick, professor of Baroque cello and viola da gamba at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  He will perform a short musicale from the solo viol literature of England and the Continent. The Festival events will then be previewed by the Bach Society staff. The event is underwritten by Mike Twyford.  Free event.
