Germany’s favorite composer, Georg Philipp Telemann, was a musical chameleon who wrote fluently in French, Italian, Polish and Germsn syles. His Folk Suite takes his enthusiasm for local color to the next level, with movements celebrating the Turks, Swiss, Muscovites and Portughese. Tempesta di Mare’s full orchestra of strings, winds, percussion and continuo rounds out their tour of off-the-beaten-musical-track locations.
